Today we talked about the verbs savoir & connaitre and reviewed for the quiz.

Due vendredi:
1) Make flashcards for the verbs savoir & connaitre (forms are on chapter 1 vocab sheet)
2) Choose 10 mots difficiles (difficult words) from vocab list. For each of the 10 words:
--draw it
--define it
--use it in a sentence

Reportage:

Activite de vocabulaire: look at yellow vocab list, English, and write down as many French words as you can. These are your strong words (mots forts). The others are your weak words (mots faibles). You need to study the mots faibles--the objective is to make this list smaller for next class.

Today we: completed the white packets and turned them in.
We 1) talked about reflexive verbs (verbs that start with "se", like s'appeller) and 2) learned some new vocabulary to talk about the movies.

Today we watched clips.
Then, we completed 1) the comparisons page of the review packet and 2) the possessions page of the review packet.
Then, we started working on the verb packet. Get a verb packet on mardi if you were absent today.

mercredi, le 12 septembre

Today we:
1) practiced negation and completed the negation page in our packet
2) practiced the futur proche and completed the negation page in our packet
3) finished the adjectif practice on the pink sheets
4) worked on name poems
